What happens if my Star Citizen email is different from the one my ship or item was sent to?

It’s not a problem if the email address that receives the gifting/delivery email is different from the email on your Star Citizen (RSI) account.


Why It Still Works


The email you receive contains a gifting link. When you click the link, you will be able to log into the RSI account you want the ship/item attributed to.


What Happens After You Click the Link

  1. Open the email and click (or paste) the gifting link.
  2. Log into the RSI account you want the ship/item on (or confirm you’re already logged in).
  3. After logging in and claiming the gift, the ship/item will appear in My Hangar on that account.


Notes / Tips


The delivery email address does not need to match your RSI account email—what matters is which RSI account you log into when you claim the gift.
