Yes, you can purchase an upgrade (CCU) even if you don’t yet have the required ship in your RSI hangar.
How It Works
- A CCU is an item that can be stored in your hangar.
- You can keep the upgrade safely in your account and apply it later when you acquire the required base ship.
Do I Have to Use the Upgrade Immediately?
No. The upgrade does not need to be used right away. Many players buy and hold upgrades for future use.
