In most cases, applying an upgrade (CCU) does not change the insurance level of your ship.
How Insurance Works With Upgrades
Upgrades usually do not include insurance. When you apply a CCU:
- Your upgraded ship keeps the insurance from the base ship.
- The upgrade only changes the ship itself, not its insurance.
Examples
- If your base ship has LTI (Lifetime Insurance) and you apply an upgrade, the new ship will still have LTI.
- If your base ship has 6 months insurance and you apply an upgrade, the new ship will still have 6 months insurance.
Notes / Tips
Upgrading a ship does not remove or replace its insurance. The upgraded ship always inherits the insurance from the original base ship.
