Overview
No you cannot buy or apply an upgrade (CCU) to a ship that you obtained by stealing it in-game.
Why Not?
Upgrades can only be applied to ships and vehicles that you own as pledges on your RSI account.
To be eligible for an upgrade, the ship must:
Be purchased (or otherwise legitimately attributed to your account), and
Appear in “My Hangar” on the RSI website.
Notes / Tips
Only ships that are owned on your account and listed in My Hangar can be upgraded. In-game stolen ships cannot be upgraded.
