Can I melt down a ship from a package separately if I no longer like it?

If your ship is part of a Star Citizen game package, it cannot be melted (exchanged for RSI store credit) on its own.

How Melting Packages Works

RSI only allows you to melt the entire package as a whole. Individual items within a package (such as the ship) cannot be separated and melted individually.

This means if you no longer want the ship from a package, you would need to melt the full package, which removes all items included in it.

Notes / Tips

You cannot melt a ship separately from a game package. Only the entire package can be melted.
