If you’re looking to buy an upgrade (CCU) and don’t see the exact one you want listed, there are a few common reasons—and a couple of easy next steps.

What to Do If the Upgrade Isn’t Listed

We can upgrade from any ship to almost any ship. If you can’t find the upgrade you’re looking for, reach out to us—we usually have it available or can confirm the best path to get it.

When the “Upgrade” Might Actually Be a Downgrade

In some cases, what you’re trying to do is considered a downgrade—meaning you’re moving from a more expensive ship to a less expensive ship. Downgrades are not handled the same way as standard upgrades.

If You Still Want a Lower-Value Ship

If your target ship is lower in value than your current ship, you may need to:

1. Melt (exchange) your current ship, and then

2. Acquire the correct upgrades needed to reach your desired ship from a suitable starting pledge.
